I Sit and I Stare

I sit. I sit and I stare. I watch her as she sleeps. Does she know me? Does she know the man I am?

Does she dream of me? Does she wonder or care? I watch her sleep and I stare.

My love, my desire, my passion grows with each breath she takes. My heart races with the thought of her touch; with the thought of her kiss; the thought of her smile.

She sleeps without knowing my love for her grows. She sleeps without knowing I stare and I yearn. She sleeps without knowing she is my life, my breath, my air.

She is my love for whom I am not worthy. I watch her as she sleeps as my love, my desire, my passion grows with her every breath.
