- Don’t use your campaign to pedal your services and products. Use your campaign to communicate to your clients; tell a story.
- Stay on schedule. Create a calendar of when you send your email campaign. Whether it be weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc., stay on a schedule. A set schedule helps you stay on course and helps your client-base know what to expect from you and your business.
Stay on course with your email marketing plan and strategy. Talk to your customers about what is relevant and how you can help their business; don’t talk at them. If your strategy and plan is effective, your readers will follow.
